Background

Our relationship with Independents By Sodexo dates back to January 2014 when we were approached by them to deliver a simple and intuitive website design and build solution utilising our Absolutely Interactive CMS. In 2019 it was time for a design refresh and we undertook a responsive redesign activity based on new brand guidelines and specification provided by Sodexo's new marketing team.

2019 Redesign

Provided with new brand guidelines consisting of a colour pallete, re-designed logo and brochure, we were tasked with producing new interactive designs in Adobe XD; we created two designs covering three key areas of the website.

The design phase was undertaken over a short two week period due to tight client timeframes\expectaction and utilised the Containers model built into AI to allow maximum creative flexibility of responsive content presentation going forward.

Project Phases

The redesign and build project was broken down into the following phases:

Redesign
An initial redesign process, involving the creation of interactive mock-ups that were approved by Sodexo prior to the build stage.

HTML Layouts
The production of flat HTML layouts for 'key' areas of the website to allow Sodexo to see and experience page interactivity.

Template/CMS Build
The build process involved creating new web templates, re-working existing layouts, applying the new brand and container model across the new site structure.

Population Stage
New site content was provided to S-Digital over a 4 month period and populated directly into our AI CMS system by S-Digital for convience.

User Acceptance Testing
Website sign off and acceptance stage, plus confirmation of a scheduled go-live date/time.
